We know that your health care needs are not only during the usual time of office hours. Health care is needed at any time of the day and night. Saudi Health Power is always available to you. We prefer that you contact us if you have an urgent problem. If our Family medicine Centers are open, we will see you for an appointment or you can walk in to see a doctor. We keep our Family Medicine Centers open seven days a week and with extended hours.

Saudi Health Power has created the SHP Care Model© which is to serve as, a “Medical Home” where you can come for most of your health care needs. We have studied many countries and have found that primary care being delivered by a team of health care providers can reduce your need for hospitalizations; reduce your costs of care, increase the quality of your care and increase your satisfaction.

Saudi Health Power has designed a new approach to the delivery of primary care in Saudi Arabia, the SHP Family Care Model©. This is “Medical Home” for you. This is not simply a place but rather the organization of primary care delivered with the patients’ needs at the core.

The SHP Care Model© will provide health care for all patients, of all ages from preconception – through pregnancy and post conception care, to wellness and preventive care, acute and chronic illness, urgent care and when needed referral through specific pathways to the necessary specialist or hospital. It will also provide in office procedures or working with specialists for hospital-based procedures. As well, SHP will remain engaged with its patients through their end of life care.

The SHP Care Model © is best described as a model or philosophy of primary care that is patient-centered, comprehensive, team-based, coordinated, accessible, and focused on quality and safety. It has been developed from a widely accepted model for how primary care should be organized and delivered throughout the health care system and is a philosophy of health care delivery that encourages providers and care teams to meet patients where they are, from the simplest to the most complex conditions

We do this through constant evaluation of their work. Our medical leaders review patient records. We also have developed a system of reports with our partner TPP - UK that allows us to measure how well our doctors are performing in the care of their patients. There are international standards for the care of many types of disease as well as for preventing disease.
